BestLife offers the highest quality away-from-home experiences for 6 to 19 year olds who live with disability.
Our sleepovers happen in a purpose-built house within the grounds of Mackenzie Special School. They’re overseen by paid education and healthcare professionals. We work hard to match kids according to age, interests and ability. At a BestLife sleepover, kids do what kids do – play, share a meal (which they’ve helped prepare), watch a movie, laugh a lot and hopefully get some sleep.
Not all kids are up to a sleepover, (and our waiting list is long) so BestLife also offers day programs. These are an opportunity for kids to experience what’s often their first taste of independence. It’s a great option for many families. Your donation can help us offer more places in day programs.
