Dear friends of BestLife,
Thank you to everyone who supported our recent fundraising campaign – ‘Say Yes’. Your generosity is already making a real difference, helping us welcome six new Besties to our community: Lilly, Coden, Max, Freddie, Corey, Charlie and Jack. We’re so excited to walk alongside each of them as they take steps toward greater independence, joy, and connection. I’d also like to extend my thanks to Amy, Emma, Anne and Brad Lutteral for being part of our campaign.
At BestLife, quality is at the heart of everything we do. It’s why we take the time to recruit team members who not only bring skills and experience, but who truly live our values of compassion, innovation and care. It’s why we invest in training, reflection and support, so our team can continue delivering the kind of personalised care that our families trust and our Besties deserve.
As we grow, we’re doing so steadily and purposefully, welcoming new families and new team members in a way that maintains our high-quality standards. (We’ll introduce some of our newest staff in the next edition.)
We’re also keeping a close eye on the NDIS as the landscape continues to change, particularly around claims and reporting requirements. If you’re a family member or carer and want to chat about how any of these updates might affect you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
In exciting news, we’ve now confirmed our building partners for Helena’s House! A big welcome to Woollam Constructions and architects DegenhartSHEDD who bring thoughtful and experienced hands to the design and construction phase. You can read more in our Helena’s House News update.
And finally, we’re proud to share that we’ve successfully completed our latest NDIS audit, receiving fantastic feedback from both auditors and families.
