Helena’s parents Fiona and Eric have created a special challenge to honour Helena’s 26th birthday.

The Swim Challenge will see them swim 26 laps for 26 days throughout June, inviting friends, family and supporters to join them along the way.

The challenge is a meaningful way to honour Helena in her 26th year while raising funds to purchase important safety and therapy equipment for BestLife’s Helena’s House project.

Helena was a terrific water polo player, passionate about helping others and she was preparing to begin her studies in Occupational Therapy. This challenge is a beautiful reflection of the kindness, compassion and care that she brought to those around her.

Whether people join for a swim, a coffee, or simply to cheer from the sidelines, the challenge is about bringing people together in Helena’s memory and continuing the values she held so closely.

If you would like to support the challenge, keep an eye on social media channels throughout June they are full of all the info you need – weekend guests including Olympic swimmers and more – updates, photos and ways to get involved! You can also simply donate here

Our heartfelt thanks to Fiona and Eric, whose energy and passion are making this a very special challenge, and to Cath and Lou for all their behind-the-scenes support (and swimming!) Helena would love this. 🌟
